We are located just south of Montreal, at 801 Williams Road in Hemingford, QC.
In general, we specialize in manufacturing parts for avionics, housings, heatsinks, and covers. We also develop mechanical parts for communications systems, carrying harnesses and straps. We work with a variety of materials, including rubber, composites, and fabrics. We do prototypes and work with our client’s engineering departments to help support product development and reduce production costs. We also provide a complete assembly service.
We have years of prototype experience, and can quickly adapt our schedule to provide small rush quantities, should our client require. Our customer service is unmatched.
Currently, we employ 22 skilled individuals with a wide variety of certifications and qualifications – even including several certified Six Sigma process developers.
Absolutely, our customer service and technical support programs are focused around helping clients to develop their ideas into reality, working one-on-one with prospective customers and helping them turn their ideas into workable prototypes.
Yes, Hess Aerospace and Defense observes the highest standards of operations in order to create an “environmentally conscious” company that values the environment and its fragile eco-systems. We follow strict regulations and observe continuous improvement processes that help us strive in this direction.
In addition to aerospace heatsinks, housings, and micromachined components, we have also worked with clients in the past to produce civilian products such as Jeep awnings, mounting brackets, coat hooks, etc… Additionally, Hess Aerospace works with cloth and fabric to create straps, tents, and so much more.
In addition to advanced aerospace manufacturing, Hess Aerospace also produces “low-tech” products for home use – in the past we’ve filed in orders for items as simple as coat hooks.
We offer CNC milling and turning, sheet metal machining and bending. Micromachining, and complete assembly. We have many years of experience working with a wide variety of metals and plastics.
Hess Aerospace and Defense prides itself on our ability to work one on one with our clients to develop unique products shaped to their exact specifications. Though we are not a supplier of original parts, we are happy to modify designs if it means suiting the needs of our customers.
At present, we are not an original parts supplier. We work off the designs of other companies and our clients on a case-by-case basis.
Micromachining seems to be something we are well known for and proficient at. We offer micromachining for the medical, optical, ballistics and drone industries.
